Evans is the first of two actors on this list who appeared in the Original Series episode Patterns Of Force. He played Isak, a young Zeon who is captured by the ruling Ekosian (Naziesque) soldiers on the planet.

Evans was a serial guest actor in his career. Along with his performance in Star Trek, he appeared on The Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Lassie, Wagon Train, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and The High Chaparral, the show that gave Henry Darrow, also on this list, his shot at stardom.

Evans is best remembered as Paul Hanley, the English Professor on the ABC soap Peyton Place, from 1965. His credits include Shadow of Rain, a production from 2007, in which he played Angelo.
