13. Trey Wilson Was Originally Wanted For The Albert Finney Role

The Coens' original choice for the role of gangster boss, Lee O'Bannon was actually Trey Wilson, who worked with the brothers in Raising Arizona.

However, just two days before principal photography began, Wilson tragically died of a brain hemorrhage. Finney was cast soon after, in a the role that would become one of his most critically acclaimed.
