20 Things You Somehow Missed In Ghostbusters

2. Larry King's Film Debut

Ghostbusters Larry King
Columbia Pictures

To ground this sci-fi adventure about paranormal exterminators, the newscasters in the film are largely all real people. Noticeably, radio host Cassey Kassem has a voice-role where he talks about the Ghostbusters finishing a job and dancing the night away with the ladies that witnessed the disturbance.

Larry King also appears briefly, smoking a cigarette and wondering aloud during his own show that perhaps the Ghostbusters' appearance might even be the cause for all the supernatural disturbances happening across New York.

The TV and radio star was a huge success by this point, but Ghostbusters is actually his first major motion picture appearance. Following this, King would star in Enemy of the State, The Bee Movie and various instalments in the Shrek franchise.
