20 Worst Movies Of 2018 (So Far)

6. Truth Or Dare

Truth Or Dare
Blumhouse

Unquestionably the dumbest horror offering of 2018 so far, Truth or Dare touts an amusing enough premise which could've been fun with the right tone and a permissive R-rating, but it sadly has neither.

Taking itself surprisingly seriously and held back by its PG-13 rating, Truth or Dare desperately wants to be Final Destination but lacks the imagination or smarts to pull it off.

Where is the millennial satire the movie so obviously set up with its cast of vapid teenage characters? Instead audiences are asked to genuinely buy into all this nonsense, which only makes it all the more laughable all the way up to its ludicrous sequel-bait ending.

Worst Moment: Too many moments to choose from, but the constant appearance of Aphex Twin-style faces every time someone is "possessed" by the game. More funny than creepy, sadly.
