4. Magneto (X-Men Movies)
The leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants has the ability to manipulate magnetic fields for a series of desired effects. Despite the fact that he is nowhere near as powerful as his comic book counterpart, the self-proclaimed master of magnetism still has near limitless control of all forms of metal - including to the extent that he can manipulate the iron inside a person's body, ripping out the iron from a prison guard's blood, killing him. By utilising the metal around him, he can also use his powers to simulate flight, such as when he used the iron from the prison guard's blood to float across a large open area and escape his plastic prison. He also has pretty impressive reaction speed, able to effect a bullet mid-flight after it had been fired out of a gun. His most impressive feat, however, was lifting the entire Golden Gate Bridge (which was also packed full of cars) across the 1.5 mile stretch of water between Alcatraz Island and mainland San Francisco. He also wears a helmet that renders him immune to the telepathic probing of his biggest rival, Charles Xavier. He's something of a glass cannon, given that he is essentially an elderly man in terms of his body, but his offensive capabilities and powers more than make up for that.
