9. Colin Higgins
Colin Higgins appeared briefly in the original Star Wars film credited as Wedge Antilles, which creates a massive fan issue; his character is never called that in his lone scene and another actor portrayed Wedge in all other scenes in the movie. As a result, he's sometimes referred to by fans as "Fake Wedge." Who played "Fake Wedge" was a matter of debate for a time, but the matter was put to rest by Lucasfilm Story Group's Pablo Hidalgo in a recent blog post. Though it is uncredited, his appearance became a huge part of Star Wars fandom due to the the controversy surrounding who was actually filling in for Denis Lawson, the "real" Wedge. Also appearing in 2007's Sweeny Todd with Johnny Depp, Higgins passed away in December 2012.
