8. Oldman Lowered His Vocal Range By A Whole Octave

While in preparation for his role as Dracula, Gary Oldman employed a voice coach on and off set, to help him with some of the more challenging aspects of the character's vocalisation.

After several months training with the singing coach, Oldman was able to lower his vocal range by an entire octave, thus providing Dracula with the more sinister tones and vocal fries that hold so much of the performance's appeal.
