1. Wonder Woman
Probably one of the most famous female superheroes of all time, Wonder Woman will likely feature in the up and coming Justice League film but could well have her own film before that. One of the best Wonder Woman stories came from when she had to resort to killing Maxwell Lord. The powerful businessman was mind-controlling Superman, which nearly resulted in the death of Batman if it had not been for Wonder Woman. However, If DC are smart enough they will completely bin any idea of a Wonder Woman film. And not because she is a woman. It is more due to the fact that women are not seen as strong characters in action films. At best, woman are viewed in a similar light to what the Black Widow was in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers. Females who have been trained to be more of a skilled agent work so much better than a woman parading around in skimpy costume, believe it or not. Whilst Wonder Woman has had more adventures than a lot of male characters she would benefit more as part of the Justice League, having been referenced in an earlier film. Whilst it may seem sexist to exclude Wonder Woman from having her own movie, especially when she is usually viewed as a feminist icon, the fact is for movie goers and action film lovers she just wouldn't sit right with the audience and DC Comics would be making a huge mistake if they took a risk on her. Princess Diana of Themyscrira, Wonder Womans alter ego, is better off being used in the Justice League and referenced in other films. Her movies wouldn't be as exciting as Batman or Superman and would likely be a flop at the box office. For those who favour her, she will likely be involved in the 2015 Justice League film alongside Batman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and the Green Lantern.
