4. A Punisher TV Series Another option if a fourth Punisher movie is off the cards is to give the character his own TV series. At the moment TV seems to be the new film and countless projects are finding new life on the small screen where they would once have only thrived at the cinema. With Frank's many cinematic failures it would seem that giving him a chance to appear on weekly television might be a better option with a higher chance of success. With Punisher away from the glare of Hollywood it may also allow his own show to be a little more adult in theme. Perhaps Disney might allow for someone else to have a crack at it so that the character can remain as bad ass as ever because we'd hate for it to turn out like the ill fated Robocop TV show. Last year it was announced that FOX had picked up the rights to make their own show but would be turning the vigilante in a skull shirt into a cop who doubles as The Punisher by night. As an audience we expect a few tweaks her and there but would this be a step too far? We covered this story back in October last year and since then it seems to have gone cold however there is a Punisher 2014 page on IMDB at the moment but it is unclear whether this is for a film or the aforementioned series.
