7 Disney Characters Who Probably Died After The Credits Rolled

6. Chip Probably Died From Brain-Related Problems - Beauty And The Beast

Aside from its titular characters, Beauty and Beast is a film renowned for its colourful cast of supporting characters, all of whom are former humans who have been transformed by a witch into an array of handy appliances and pieces of furniture. One of these unforgettable supporting players is Chip, Mrs. Potts' adorable son, who, for some reason, she awkwardly adores over the rest of her cup-based kids. He's identifiable by way of the large chip in the side of his head, of course. At the end of the film, the curse is lifted and everyone is returned to human form. Chip reverts to being a kid, but the movie avoids explaining what happens to the chip in the side of his head, presumably in an attempt to conceal a harrowing revelation: Chip has a hole in his skull, and - as a result - probably doesn't have very long to live in the wake of those ending credits rolling. Did somebody say "brain haemorrhage"? Observant fans are probably shouting something along the lines of: "But he has a tooth missing at the end! That's the chip in the cup manifesting itself in human form, duh!" Good try, but it doesn't explain where the other hole has gone because Chip clearly had a chip in his tooth when he was in cup form, too. In short, there should be two "chips," and the film doesn't give us a chance to see the second one. R.I.P., little buddy.
