Avengers: Age Of Ultron - 11 Ways It Was Almost Completely Different
4. Loki's Cameo
If Idris Elba is to be believed (and only a fool would doubt him to his face), when he was shooting Thor's hallucination sequence in the nightmarish version of Asgard, he was filming with Tom Hiddleston.
He let that slip early in the filming process - and was presumably reprimanded - setting the rumour mill into motion over how Loki would make his appearance. General consensus suggested either a post-credits nod or some sort of dream sequence, and given how Elba ended up involved, it seems pretty likely that Loki was also part of Thor's vision.
Would It Have Worked?
It wasn't entirely necessary to have Tom Hiddleston come in and steal even more scenes, and you have to suspect that his presence would have entirely nullified Idris Elba's impact in Thor's vision.
