17. Gamora - "Last Survivor?"

Back in Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora it's quite firmly stated to be the last of her kind, just as she is in the comics. It's revealed in her mugshot when the Guardians are all arrested on Xandar and sent to prison.

The graphic on her profile page reads "Last survivor of the Zehoberi People". See...

So what happened to the rest of her people who deomstrably were not killed by Thanos in the flashback that showed her being "adopted"? Thanos claimed they're all now living happily without poverty and hunger. Which would be accurate if they were indeed dead, but that's clearly not what he meant.

Yet more retconniing in the MCU.
