Captain America: Civil War - 10 Characters That Could Steal The Show
8. Scarlet Witch
Elizabeth Olsens Wanda Maximoff continues to be something of a wildcard in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She flip-flopped from supporting Ultron to standing with the Avengers in her debut film appearance, and whos to say that Scarlet Witch wont undergo a similarly massive character arc in Captain America: Civil War? Wanda is bound to take a big interest in the superhero Civil War. If the government had more sanctioning on heroes prior to the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultrons third act, perhaps hed still be alive today. With that in mind, it seems likely that Wanda may not agree completely Captain Americas anti-government-control stance. Perhaps shell turn against the good-two-shoes Avengers leader and forge her own path, explaining why she looks so grumpy in some of the promotional materials. This could lead to Scarlet Witchs more volatile and evil tendencies returning to the fore, which could in turn enable some interesting character developing moments and some hefty fight scenes. If this is what happens, and Scarlet Witch ends up taking an unpredictable wildcard role in Civil War, expect Wanda to be one of those characters that steals the show and dominates post-film discussions.
