3. The Iron Spider Has Been Seen... Sort Of

It might not have the gold and red iconic look it did in the comics, but Iron Man's fan favourite Iron Spider suit has been confirmed for Civil War (or at least a slim-line version of it has, anyway). The end of the trailer saw Spidey's big reveal, including the contentious feature of his moving eyes. They might have looked cartoonish, but the tell-tale aperture sound confirms that his suit is mechanised (fitting in with his robo-web shooters as well). Given that he's still young (despite being a genius), it makes most sense that this suit was actually made by Tony Stark. Rating: 9/10 It seems inevitable, and it gives currency to the idea that Spidey and Iron Man are new science bros. Whether that means Stark will have implemented the failsafe and tracking augmentations he added in the Civil War comics remains to be seen.
