Every Pokemon Movie Ranked Worst To Best
10. Pokemon Ranger And The Temple Of The Sea
Often cited as the low point of the Advanced era, there's actually a ridiculously ham-and-cheese-fisted romp inside Pokemon Ranger and The Temple of the Sea that, if allowed to go with the flow, marks it out as one of the better installments of that sophomore run. Though its star Pokemon - a newborn Manaphy - splits opinion, the longest animated film in the franchise to date is giddier than its reputation suggests.
After Wish Maker pulled focus onto Max, this one puts the spotlight on both Ash and May as the latter is inadvertently imprinted upon by Manaphy as its mother. The pair must return it the underwater palace of Samiya with the help of their friends and the titular Pokemon Ranger, Jack Walker - all while eluding a crew of crackpot pirates chasing after them. It's absolute cobblers but sufficiently entertaining cobblers too.
