Flashpoint: 10 Major New Details You Need To Know About The Flash Movie
5. Warner Bros. Could Move Forward Without Ezra Miller
A few months ago, a troubling video started doing the rounds on social media which allegedly showed The Flash star Ezra Miller chocking a fan before pushing her to the ground. It received plenty of mainstream media coverage, but the actor made no comment (he's not on social media, and his spokesperson did not respond to requests for a statement).
Shortly after, a Fandom Wire story claimed that Warner Bros. had not made any sort of decision about Miller, and that they would move forward with The Flash...with or without the actor. As you might expect, the studio isn't looking to launch a new superhero franchise with a lead who possibly goes around assaulting female fans, but this would be a shocking move on their part.
After all, Miller is also a big part of the Fantastic Beasts franchise, so it seems doubtful they would take the decision to recast the role of the Scarlet Speedster lightly. Fortunately for them, with everything going on in the world right now, the video has been mostly forgotten, and so it is likely the Justice League star will be sticking around as Barry Allen.
