In Memoriam: 10 Film Professionals Who Passed Away In 2012

10. Bob Anderson

Possibly the least-known name on this list, Bob Anderson desperately deserves to be here just because of his insanely huge body of work. An Olympic fencer, Anderson also worked as a stunt double and sword master/fencing coach for a mass of films such as the original Star Wars trilogy, The Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit, The Princess Bride, and Kubrick€™s Barry Lyndon. A master of his art and a contributor to some of the most important pieces of cinema ever made, Anderson was a name in the credits that most people skipped over, that even I skipped over, but that doesn€™t mean that the sword-master wasn€™t a connection between worlds, and has a wonder of a filmography.
