8. Robert B. Sherman
One of the most influential songwriters in the history of taking songs and utilising them for that extra emotion in a film, Robert B. Sherman worked with his brother Richard Morton scored and wrote songs for The Aristocats, Mary Poppins, The Jungle Book, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and many others, as well as writing the famous and eerie Its a Small World (After All). Sherman was also a Purple Heart recipient for his fighting in World War II and a renowned painter. A voice in music as big as Alan Menken, Robert B. Sherman was a master of his art, and he will be truly missed.
