Joker Origin Movie: 10 Reasons Fans Should Be Worried
6. The Batman Problem

One of the biggest problems the movie faces is how to fit Batman into the equation. You can't really have a Joker film without the Dark Knight, can you?
The Caped Crusader's very existence has been Mister J's sole motivation for years, and the two characters are intrinsically linked, opposite sides of the same coin.
Separating them doesn't seem like a great idea considering what a winning combination they've proved on screen, but including Batman as a supporting character comes with its own set of problems.
If Bats ends up being the villain of the story, there's the danger of him stealing the spotlight. This is one of the most iconic superheroes of all time we're talking about - nobody wants to see him in a bit part role, or should that be bat part?
Perhaps the logical thing to do is tease the Dark Knight's arrival in Gotham at the end of the film, essentially Batman Begins' ending in reverse, but what will The Joker be without his nemesis before that moment?
