As soon as the story of Harvey Weinstein's sexual misconduct and allegations of harassment and assault were revealed, it became very clear that there was going to be some pretty big shockwaves all over the industry. Surely other castles would fall as the notorious figure was toppled from his lofty position?

Unfortunately for Warner Bros, Ben Affleck became one of the first names implicated in the scandal. He publicly denied knowledge of Weinstein's conduct, despite working closely with him (particularly on Good Will Hunting), but Rose McGowan accused him of lying, as she told him of Weinstein's inappropriate behaviour with her.

At the same time, in the wake of Affleck's denouncement of Weinstein, footage of him groping MTV host Hilarie Burton re-emerged on the net, which Burton herself confirmed:
