Justice League Snyder Cut: 10 Reasons It Could Be A TERRIBLE Idea

Some fans appear to be operating under the belief that the Snyder Cut is guaranteed to be the greatest comic book movie the world has ever seen, with the filmmaker's unrealized vision for Justice League ascending to almost mythic proportions.

Now that we've got confirmation that the project is finally happening, Snyder finds himself under immense pressure to deliver a version of Justice League that justifies the years-long online campaign to atone for the sins of the theatrical edition and simultaneously manages to live up to the massive expectations that now surround it.

However, let's not forget that Man of Steel, Batman v Superman and Justice League didn't exactly receive widespread critical acclaim. All of them hold 'Rotten' scores on Rotten Tomatoes as well as scoring a middling 55, 44 and 45 on Metacritic respectively, while each failed to do the kind of numbers at the box office that the studio were expecting.

It isn't like Justice League was an unfortunate blip that ruined the hard work done by its two universally beloved predecessors, with Snyder's entire tenure as part of the DCEU proving to be incredibly divisive. The Snyder Cut may be happening, but you can guarantee that it'll still end up leaving more than a few people disappointed.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
