MCU: Predicting Marvel's Next 20 "Completely Different" Movies
6. Adam Warlock
Though he's going to be introduced in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 as the villain of the piece, you have to suspect that the MCU's version of Adam Warlock will follow his comic book counterpart, rejecting his origin (and primary purpose). He will no doubt start that film as an instrument of Ayesha let loose on the Guardians in her quest for vengeance, but by the end, it's inevitable that he will go full Frankenstein's monster and question his existence, striking out on his own.
That would then set up a solo movie for him - which has been talked about ever since James Gunn included his cocoon as an Easter Egg in the first Guardians movie. It's unlikely he'll take on the same role as he did post Infinity War in the comics (as one of the Infinity Stones' protectors), but he's still a great character and watching a superhero dealing with the fallout of being a science experiment is something we've seen hinted at before in the MCU. It's about time that was explored fully.
