MCU: Predicting Marvel's Next 20 "Completely Different" Movies

16. Black Panther 2

For all the promise of a wholly different, distinct period after Avengers 4, there will undoubtedly be more sequels than just Spider-Man 2 and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 in the next batch of MCU movies and there should be absolutely no doubt that a Black Panther sequel will also follow.

Even if the film isn't the roaring success that it definitely will be, Marvel have never been in the habit of dropping their sub-franchises solely because of slightly inferior performance. Both Thor and Iron Man survived underwhelming sequels after all. Marvel now have the luxury of comfort to absorb these things.

But it's unlikely that Black Panther WILL disappoint. The excitement around it behind the scenes at Marvel has already been very well publicised and everything released so far suggests we're in for a treat. And given the number of stories available for adaptation in the Panther comics library, there will be ample opportunity to expand the story further.
