Predicting DC's 9 Upcoming Superhero Movies Up To 2020

2. Justice League 2 - April 3, 2020

Speaking of a Justice League sequel, welcome to the far-off future of 2020! Based on those highly sophisticated and geek-tastic math skills, it's hard not to think that Justice League 2 will hit theatres on April 3, 2020. This date not only lines up with the "big film first" theory, but it gives the studio plenty of time to introduce a few new characters after Justice League and set up the events of the next big team up. Sequels usually hit theatres two to three years after previous installments, so if the first Justice League film hits theatres in 2017, it would make sense for the second to arrive three years later, in 2020. All of this supposition could well end up being pointless, as if Dawn Of Justice flops even slightly, DC will inevitably re-evaluate their strategy, as they seem to have done multiple times in the past already, and the bigger gambles - of the solo movies mostly - will probably be the projects that end up getting pulled in favour of skipping ahead to Justice 2, or just relaunching Batman with the Justice League as back-up characters or recurring cameos.
