Ranking March 2019's Movies From Worst To Best

5. Leaving Neverland

Leaving Neverland
HBO

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 98% (7.86/10)

Box Office: Direct to TV.

Verdict: Sure to be the most controversial and divisive documentary film of the year, Leaving Neverland nevertheless provides a disturbing and convincing account of alleged grooming and sexual abuse at the hands of Michael Jackson.

With a brutal four-hour runtime - aired over two nights in both the U.S. and U.K. - and no icky detail spared, it's certainly not a movie for the faint of stomach, but as a rigorous examination of purported abuse and the effect it has on its victims, it's a vital sit.

Whether you come away from the film convinced or not, the pin-sharp editing and fascinating array of perspectives paint a compelling picture that absolutely deserves to be seen by fans and non-fans of Jackson alike.
