Ranking March 2019's Movies From Worst To Best

19. The Dirt

The Dirt
Netflix

Rotten Tomatoes Score: 44% (4.83/10)

Box Office: Direct to Netflix.

Verdict: Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Mötley Crüe biopic directed by Jackass co-creator Jeff Tremaine and dumped on Netflix with minimal advertising.

To be completely fair to The Dirt, the four central performances are "rock" solid and it moves at an energetic pace, even if it absolutely feels like a Wikipedia-style checklist of the band's success and turmoil.

The music rules, because of course it does, but it never quite dares to be more than a moderately entertaining, surface-deep treatment of the legendary rock group. Whether they actually deserved better or not is up for debate.
