20 Recent Horror Movies You'll Never Watch Again

The Daisy Ridley-starring horror-drama We Bury the Dead was undeniably hobbled by its own dishonest marketing, which ensured that the majority of people who saw it had little interest in a second go-around.

The trailers for the film largely sold it as an action-packed post-apocalyptic zombie film, when in fact We Bury the Dead is more of a slow-paced, talky survival drama about a woman facing her own grief.

Ridley's terrific in the film and it's a well-crafted ride overall, but it's also easy to appreciate why many were left grumpy that they didn't get the movie they were sold.

And even if you dug it, you probably weren't left with a burning desire to see it again - it's a solidly pared-down take on the prototypical zombie movie, but not something that really demands to be watched numerous times. 

You can watch it once, dig it, and then move on with your life.
