4. Det. Mitch Preston - Showtime

Showtime stars Robert De Niro and Eddie Murphy as a buddy-cop duo, which somebody, who clearly didn't possess a single brain cell, thought would be absolutely hilarious. Unsurprisingly, the end result was unmitigated tedium. The only even remotely sane reasoning for pairing De Niro together appears to be that some studio suit thinks a black guy and an old white dude paired together is the height of comedic entertainment. It's awkward (certainly not in a funny way), tiresome and a tiny little bit strange. By this point, we knew De Niro couldn't really do straight out comedy, and it's depressing to see him persist with it, especially in a movie as turgid as this.
