2. Blofeld In All But Name

Whatever Sam Mendes, Christoph Waltz and anyone else says about Franz Oberhauser not being Blofeld, the trailer goes out of its way to make the parallels between the two characters irresistible. Not only does it feature the SPECTRE leader (or apparent leader if they really are going to defer to an even higher big bad by the end) sitting at the head of a long conference table (so iconic an image that it was heavily riffed in Austin Powers), but it also has him initially cloaked in shadow, as Blofeld was for his first appearance. It's all getting very John Harrison, and you have to feel like they should just get on with it and announce that he actually is Blofeld all along. They do finally own the rights after all.
