6. Nick Fury

Up until the final credits sequence, it very much feels like something is a little bit wrong with Nick Fury. He seems uncharacteristically brash, even for a man with the most notoriously prickly attitude in the MCU and he calls Peter Parker a bitch at one point. It's almost like the writers have decided to write him even more as a Samuel L Jackson caricature and it's not always successful.

He's still very funny at times and his put-upon mentor shtick definitely works, but there's less cool here than there's ever been.

Your appreciation of the character changes significantly when you realise that this is, in fact, Talos the Skrull playing what he believes is the way Nick Fury would act. That explains the slight wrongness and the slightly off demeanor and honestly, it's very smart.
