3. Spider-Man 1-3
As we know, Sam Raimis Spider-Man trilogy wasnt the first time we got to see Spider-Mans suit in live-action another hidden 'gem' from the past is the infamous Japanese TV series but it was the first time a production could afford to properly realise the character as he deserved. As such, this suit has a special place in the hearts of Spidey fans. Everything is just so well proportioned. The eyes are just the right size and the spider emblem on his chest and back is not too stretched out or too shrunken. The silver piping of the webbing is perhaps a little bulky but it undoubtedly looks good. After all, the sight of this Spider-Man suit swinging through the orange-saturated New York skyline is still the most definitive image from any Spider-Man movie. Sure, it clearly is the outcome of Hollywood costume designers with an ample budget behind them and not the work of a strapped-for-cash student photographer but suspend your disbelief and just enjoy it as a fantastic recreation of the characters iconic look, without the need to go gritty or silky. This is the live-action Spidey suit that all others are judged against.
