Star Trek: Every Starfleet Starship Class Ranked Worst To Best

21. Norway

Star Trek Norway Class

The Norway class vessel USS Budapest took part in the battle of sector 001, following a similar design pattern to the Akira, Saber and Steamrunner class ships. However, unlike those vessels, it would never again see action in Starfleet after this fight.

This had nothing to do with the strength or weakness of the design. There was a simple, behind-the-scenes reason for this. They lost the design!

As revealed by Ben Robinson for the model that released, a new CGI model had to be built from scratch for the Norway Class ship. It has proved to be a strong design, one that suits Starfleet well and it is a crying shame that the audience didn't get to see more of it.
