Star Wars: 9 Things About The Last Jedi That Make No Sense

1. The Mysteries Of Snoke

In a sense, Snoke turned out to be more of a red herring than a rehash of the Emperor and those fan theories claiming he was everyone from Darth Plagueis to Mace Windu turned out to be hogwash.

Snoke may not be a returning character from Star Wars past, but it's clear he has secrets that are yet to be revealed. Where was he during the prequel and original trilogy, and how did the events of these films shape his destiny?

Rian Johnson has teased that the villain's origin could be revealed in a future Star Wars movie, but why go to lengths to flesh out a dead character's back story? It almost seems pointless to solve these mysteries after his demise.

Andy Serkis, who plays Snoke, has hinted that the character's ravaged appearance and hatred of the Resistance are connected, though his motivation seems far less important now he's no longer the Supreme Leader. Perhaps the dots will be connected in a canon novel, rather than Episode IX.

Have explanations for any of these? Any other things you think didn't make sense? Let us know down in the comments.
