5. Ahsoka Tano
Star Wars fans sure have a lot to thank The Mandalorian for. The fatigue of the sequel trilogy brought the spirit of the fandom down, but this Disney+ series was a bright spark of hope to keep fans believing in the franchise. One specific thing that it deserves praise for is finally introducing the beloved Ahsoka Tano to live-action.
This character found her development as the leading protagonist in The Clone Wars animated series. She captured the hearts of audiences right away, as her cocky attitude combined with a sense of kindness and bravery made her a perfect character to follow. Viewers got to see her grow as a Jedi and felt like they were growing with her.
Were it not for her surprise appearance in The Mandalorian, then Ahsoka wouldn't have made it to this list. But, it's great that she can, as her episode "The Jedi" was an absolute highlight of the series. She came in as a veteran warrior, and while her youthful spirit was gone, it was excellent to see her as a fully realised Knight.
Her eye-catching design, power, growth and personality make her one of the most exciting Jedi in the entire saga, and fans can't wait to see her live-action role expanded.
