Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer Reactions - 8 Ups & 2 Downs

1. Not Enough Poe/BB-8

It's inevitable that there would be some casualties when it came to sharing out the screen time in the new trailer, but it's just a shame that two of the MVPs - and easily the biggest fan favourites - in Poe Dameron and BB-8 were mostly absent (aside from a couple of flashes).

It could be that Poe's character arc isn't quite as defined as the others, since he was due to be killed off initially, and that BB-8 has some competition as the franchise's chief merchandise seller (from the Porgs), but their absence was very much notable.

Hopefully that's not an indication that they're not as pivotal in the plot as the others, or that Poe is set to perish in Kylo Ren's attack on Leia's ship or something equally heinous. Because he deserves better, and we - just generally - deserve more BB-8.

And now on to the positives...
