3. Was Lando Jannah's Father?

When the heroes arrive on Kef Bir, they're introduced to the character of Jannah (Naomi Ackie), a former First Order Stormtrooper who ends up helping the Resistance take down the Final Order.

She certainly seems like an intriguing enough character, and many fans had guessed pre-release that she would eventually be revealed to be the daughter of Lando Calrissian.

Bizarre it was, then, that this wasn't confirmed despite a very peculiar closing scene where Lando insists he'll help Jannah find out where she came from.

Either Lando is her father, or he was just creeping on her big time, and either way, it feels incredibly odd and shoehorned.

Rumours persist that Jannah and Lando actually shared more scenes in the original cut of the movie, so it'll be interesting to see whether or not some deleted scenes can shed any light on the precise nature of their relationship.

Star Wars has never resisted the urge to crowbar a contrived familial link into a story, so why play coy here?
