Before she was The Joker's sidekick, Harley Quinn was better known as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, an Arkham Asylum psychiatrist who quit her job when she feel in love with the villain. Set photos have shown Margot Robbie in regular street clothes minus her brightly coloured hair and pale skin, so it definitely appears as if Suicide Squad will deal with the origin story of the fan-favourite character as her relationship with The Joker is explored in further detail. However, Harleen doesn't appear to be as meek as her comic book counterpart, as she's been spotted pulling off some impressive motorbike stunts. There wasn't so much as a single tattoo on Harley's face in these set photos, so these definitely have to be flashback scenes, a good indication that the character's past is going to come into play in Suicide Squad in a major way. Based on how much Robbie has been spotted on set, it seems fair to say that Harley might just be the movie's lead.
