Suicide Squad: 13 Biggest Questions We Want Answered

1. Is It Really That Bad?

So, early reactions are in, and it ain't pretty. While there are a few positive reviews, general consensus is that it's pretty rubbish, ranging from bad, to really really bad, to worse than last year's Fantastic Four.

Some pretty strong stuff, so can it really be that bad? This is rather different to Batman v Superman - that film looked like a mess for pretty much the entirety of its lifespan, with a terrible marketing campaign, and when it started being slated just before release it was a case of 'well, yeah, of course.'

Suicide Squad, on the other hand, has hardly put a foot wrong, with a number of great trailers, so it's far more surprising to hear it being slated. The thought of seeing the film is still exciting, and it'll be interesting to see if it can live up to the hype pre-reviews, or whether critical consensus has got it right.
