The Avengers Vs. Avengers: Infinity War - Which Is Better?
12. The Villains
For many, many years, Loki was held up as the MCU's best villain, and as many fans complained about the franchise having a "villain problem", he was the one shining, unambiguous instance of the series touting a charming, bada**, highly entertaining antagonist.
Then Thanos (Josh Brolin) came along. After six years of hype, the Mad Titan finally arrived on the scene, and his Infinity Stone-fuelled rampage certainly didn't disappoint. More than any comic book movie villain in recent memory, his motives were provocative and intriguing, and he truly believed that what he was doing was the absolute right thing for the universe.
Winner: They're both terrific villains, but Thanos' more imposing nature, strong character development and the devastating scale of his warpath make him the definitive victor here.
