6. Mr Potato Head Is In

When it was revealed that Don Rickles had sadly passed away before he was able to record any of his lines as Mr Potato Head, it was assumed by some fans that Mr Potato Head would simply be left out of the movie. No doubt it would still carry a tribute to Rickles, but how could they continue using him?

Sadly, Pixar have already had to recast Slinky when Jim Varney died (his friend Blake Clark does such a good job filling in that it doesn't sound like Slinky changed at all), but recasting Rickles seems impossible. Still, it's good to see that the character will play a part in the film, because cutting him out entirely would have felt like a disservice to him.

At least this way fans can say a proper goodbye to him.
