3. The "Horror" Element Actually Looks Good

Creepy dolls improve pretty much everything, which is why it's great to see that Toy Story 4 seems to be including some sort of homage to Slappy the ventriloquist's dummy from Goosebumps.

The many, many Slappies seem to form part of a haunted house sequence - actually set in an antique store - which might draw from old ideas, but which looks great.

Trailers like this should seek to have talking points - particularly for adults - and having scary puppets that will be as affecting to older audiences as they are kids is a genius ploy. Also, it's a clever way of engaging with those Chucky and Slappy are part of the Toy Story universe fan theories.
