15. Kristen Stewart & Wagner Moura - Flesh of the Gods
For a while there it seemed like Mandy filmmaker Panos Cosmatos was never going to secure funding to shoot his new gothic horror film Flesh of the Gods, but it finally wrapped production this past June.
The film will star Kristen Stewart and Wagner Moura as Alex and Raoul, a married couple living in 1980s Los Angeles who cross paths with a seductive vampire (Esmé Creed-Miles) who lures them into a nighttime life of hedonism and brutality.
Notably, this will mark Stewart's first waltz back into the vampire genre since the Twilight franchise, though with Cosmatos at the helm it's sure to be a decidedly wilder, more ultraviolent affair.
Stewart hasn't ever been one to shy away from challenging roles, and recent Oscar nominee Wagner Moura has confirmed himself to be one of the most talented actors of his generation as of late, so it'll be a trip to see the pair teaming up to dive down a blood-sucking rabbit-hole with one of the genre's most visionary filmmakers.
