Will Avengers: Infinity War Kill Off All The Phase One Superheroes?

If any of the Phase One heroes can be considered safe from death in Infinity War and Avengers 4 it is Black Widow. Despite being a secondary character during the early films, Black Widow is one of the most popular Marvel characters which may be due to her being the only female kick-ass superhero in the whole of Phase One. Her safety is guaranteed as she has not had a real chance to shine and many fans are waiting for her opportunity to do so in a Black Widow solo movie.

While it is constantly being discussed and petitioned for by fans, with Jac Scaeffer now supposedly penning a script for it, there would be mass outrage if Scarlett Johansson was not allowed to star in Marvel’s second female superhero solo film, the first being Captain Marvel which will be released next year. With such a brilliant actress and an interesting character there is little doubt that Black Widow will be returning to the screen in her own solo movie or at least in the next iteration of the Avengers in Phase Five.
