28. "Angel Of Death"

When the German ring announcer sets up the second fight between Angel and Nightcrawler, he calls Angel "The Angel Of Death" among other fight nicknames. That of course references the fact that he becomes one of the Four Horsemen under Apocalypse in the comics, but it also references his actually becoming Death by Apocalypse's hand.

As in the film, in the comics he also has his wings destroyed - mutilated by the Marauder, Harpoon - and Apocalypse uses his powers to give him organic metal wings to replace them. (That sequence by the way is disturbingly difficult to watch).
