7. New Untitled Bioshock Game
Five years after 'Wiping away the debt,' there's been nothing but crickets from the much-beloved Bioshock and publisher 2K games. Considering how acclaimed the series was, it's rather shocking that there's been little-to-nothing about it mentioned through these last couple years (even with creator Ken Levine's departure).
This is why many Bioshock fans began hyperventilating with excitement when there was a report coming from Kotaku's Jason Schreier earlier this year focused on the making of Mafia 3, a 2K-published title. While discussing the game, he mentioned the discovery of a top-secret game he believes to be the next Bioshock that is early in development. There hasn't been an update on it and the extremely-downplayed way it was announced there seems suspect. Is it really a new Bioshock?
Wouldn't an announcement like this be something 2K would jump onto and promote immediately? Besides, after all this time, has the series just been laid to rest since its creator has moved on? With no information to go off and little reason to get amped up, this is something that may just remain unconfirmed for the rest of the unforseeable future.
