2. Hugh Jackman As Wolverine - X-Men Origins: Wolverine

After several attempts to get Jackman to voice the character in a game, he finally agreed for this surprisingly solid title.

The X-Men franchise has seen more than its fair share of ups and downs - while 2000's X-Men and 2003 follow-up X2 were both solid, respectable movies, their sequel, X-Men: The Last Stand, was nearly a death blow for the franchise. There have been many new titles featuring Marvel's mutants since, but most of them have been pretty forgettable, and it's been difficult for the characters to get the on-screen treatment they deserve.

Possibly the only character that's beyond reproach is Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. The Australian actor has managed to embody the gruff, regenerating adamantium-clawed mutant perfectly, and it's hard to imagine anyone else ever filling Logan's boots quite the way that Jackman has.

Despite a number of X-Men games made featuring the character since Jackman took up the role, 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the first video game to feature the actor's voice.

While there's probably not a direct correlation, it's worth mentioning that this is widely regarded as one of the best X-Men video games.

Coincidence? Probably.
