Super Mario Odyssey is one of the defining games for the Nintendo Switch, and to many is the peak of Mario's 3D potential. 17 total kingdoms offering immensely enjoyable gameplay mechanics, and truly unique art design make up the bulk of the fun in Super Mario Odyssey, but the litany of costumes available at one of the many Crazy Cap stores only add to the game's unrelenting charm.

Super Mario Odyssey is packed with quirky costumes, each reflecting the level in which they can be found, but the boxer shorts that can be purchased for a meagre 1000(!) coins are simply too amusing to pass up, assuming of course that the player has saved up a small fortune to acquire them

The boxer shorts make for the game's only opportunity to see Mario in all his shirtless glory, and the risqué look of the outfit is balanced by how goofy Mario looks when traversing the level donning nothing more than his underpants and a hat of the player's choice.

The iconic blue overalls and brown boots are as synonymous with Mario's character as Link's green tunic in The Legend of Zelda, so switching to a more revealing costume is a shock to the system, but one that is immeasurably amusing.
