10 Amazing Video Game Missions That Got Cut
2. The Edge Of Acting - The Witcher 3
It's undeniable that The Witcher 3 rarely leaves the player with nothing to do. In between slaying monsetrs and fighting the Wild Hunt, you can aid helpless villagers, participate in races, and, of course, spend an unhealthy amount of time challenging random NPCs to a round of Gwent.
However, if you think the quests in the final version of the game are all of the ideas Projekt RED had for additional content, you are dead wrong. There are actually ten more missions that were fully fleshed out but never made it to the final roster of side quests, despite the fact they're all amazing. One of them even features everyone's favorite comic relief troubadour, Dandelion.
Called "The Edge Of Acting," the mission is centered around Dandelion's production of his new play. The charming minstrel can't find one of his actors and asks Geralt if he could fill in for him, taking on the role of a sylvan.
The quest was likely similar to the story mission with Priscilla, and if you ever played the game, you can probably imagine how amazing a similar mission could've been with Dandelion as the director.
You can just picture his face when Geralt goes off script.
