10 Animal Crossing: New Horizons Updates We NEED To See
7. Easier Re-arranging Of Structures
The Nook construction terminal allows players to move already placed buildings for a fee. However, the additional price that players have to pay is dealing with the building placement system in this game.
Anyone who has placed their initial tent knows how it works: you're given a tent kit that you select from your inventory, an outline shows where this will be placed and you either confirm or choose to take it elsewhere. Although this doesn't sound too bad, placement is respective to the position of your character. This makes making small adjustments harder than it needs be. Plus with placement being almost centred on your character, it can be hard to place buildings in some areas.
No doubt Nintendo did this to ensure that buildings were accessible so villagers weren't locked in their houses and such, but it really puts a limit on creativity. This is on top of all main buildings being one orientation with no way to rotate them. It would be nice to have a new placement mode added as well as the ability to not have all structures facing one direction.
