10 Announced Video Games We Haven't Heard From In AGES
5. Witchfire
Announced at the 2017 Game Awards, Witchfire is developer The Astronauts second effort after their stellar debut The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Witchfire is a dark fantasy, action oriented first person shooter that looked absolutely chocked full of promise.
However, the only really promise that has surrounded the game since its initial announcement is that it will be released '-when it's done.'. Not exactly the news excited fans were hoping for. What little has been seen of the game thus far looks as intriguing as it does beautiful but with nothing more than the initial teaser released so far, the hype will no doubt be waning for this skill-based shooter.
First person shooters are a dime a dozen these days in gaming but Witchfire appears to be attempting to stand out from the crowd as a single-player focused effort with a unique aesthetic. However, so far, the most notable thing about the game is simply how little we have heard about it since the initial announcement. Here's hoping for more info sometime soon.
